First Queer Ecology Hike of 2026, and this one’s not to be missed.
Queer Forest Club x Queer Ecology Canada are coming together for a special collaborative hike at the Scarborough Bluffs. This gathering marks the first hike of the season and an opportunity to step into the year grounded in community, curiosity, and connection to the land.
These hikes are designed as intentional spaces for folks to connect with each other and with the world around us. Together, we’ll move at a gentle pace, taking time to notice, learn, and share, whether that’s through informal conversations, guided reflections, or simply being present with the water, cliffs, and forest around us.
Queer Ecology invites us to think differently about our relationships, with land, with each other, and with the systems we move through. This hike is an invitation to explore those ideas in a way that feels accessible, embodied, and rooted in care.
Whether you’re new to hiking, curious about queer ecology, or returning to reconnect with community, you are welcome here. Come as you are, ready to explore, reflect, and spend time together outdoors.
